Great interest in Nordic healthtech at HIMSS Europe

A full-packed conference session on innovative Nordic healthtech and a pavilion with startup members showcasing their empowering healthtech solutions, that was the main ingredients of our participation at HIMSS Europe 2019. 

HIMMS Europe is an event of paramount importance for Europe’s eHealth development and attract policy-makers, industry representatives and health specialists that wish to connect and work together to advance digital health in Europe. The event this year took place in Helsinki, Finland, on 11-13 June.

HealthTech Nordic participated with eight exhibiting startups and we hosted a workshop on Nordic healthtech.

Exhibiting startups

The startups exhibiting in the pavilion this year was: Cuviva, Daman, Dossier Solutions, Learning to Sleep, O2matic, Protetiko, DrugStars and Monsenso. Find out more about the startups and their various solutions here.

In the afternoon of the second day we hosted a conference session where we showcased Nordic healthtech solutions. HealthTech Nordic’s Director Marianne Larsson kicked off the session by talking about why healthtech is booming in the Nordics and why it is happening now. Then followed a parade of digital healthcare solutions where the exhibiting startups got up on stage one and one to present their respective innovative healthtech solutions, here are three of the startups on stage:

During the three-day conference the startups as well as the HealthTech Nordic staff had many fruitful conversations.
