In pictures: Our participation at Oslo Healthcare Demo Day
More than 20 exhibiting startups who had many fruitful meetings with Norwegian customers – that was the main result of our participation at Oslo Healthcare Demo Day 2019.
The demo day organized by Norway Health Tech, Innolabs and HealthTech Nordic attracted a significant amount of decision makers from Norwegian caregivers and people leading the development and implementation of new digital solution hospitals in Norway, as well as many startups with innovative healthcare solutions of course.
The aim of the day was to bring the potential buyers and sellers together to further progress the digitization of healthcare. Norway faces similar challenges with an ageing population and a growing number of people with multiple chronic diseases as many other countries. However, in Norway there is also a clear intent to tackle these challenges using new technology.
The demo day included an exhibition, caregiver challenge pitches, one-to-one discussions and informal networking opportunities.
HealthTech Nordic rented a bus so member companies could travel environmentally friendly to Oslo for free – while providing a fun work day for all participants:

“Do twice as much with the same resources, with better quality”, our Director Marianne Larsson said about the possibilities with healthtech while on stage during the opening ceremony:
Marianne also took the opportunity to let all those attending the demo day know how the HealthTech Nordic community is making an impact on healthcare:
This is our community:
